You can select and copy text from any scan that’s been taken with OCR enabled. Simply:
Open a scan.
Long press the text you need to copy.

To delete or share multiple files:

For scans the app recognizes as a business card, you can save contact information from the card to your contacts list. If the app detects a business card on any scanned page after the text recognition process completes, a Save Contact icon appears in the bottom menu as well as the document card thumbnail. On the preview screen, you may also see a notification that says “This looks like a business card…”.
To add the scan data to your contacts:

When the New Contact form appears, enter or edit the details. The scan appears at the top so you can verify the information.

Note that the appears in several locations if the app believes the image to be a business card, including thumbnail previews, the overflow menu, and so on.

Commenting is a free service provided via Acrobat Reader. The feature allows you to share files, add comments (sticky note), and markup a PDF with underlines, strikethrough, and so on. To use this feature, simply install Acrobat and:
Open a scan.

The file opens in Acrobat.
Fill & Sign forms are PDF forms you can create on any platform, including mobile devices. Fill & Sign form fields are similar to annotations: you can select a form element from the form tool bar and tap anywhere on the PDF to place it.
If you’ve installed Acrobat Reader, tap to open your PDF scan in that app. You can then add form fields such as text fields and check boxes. You can fill out the fields, or you can send the file to others for fill in.
From any file list, tap next to any file.

When the PDF opens in Acrobat, select a form tool; for example, a text field or checkbox.
Enter data. By default, the app suggests entries for text fields.

Before saving your scan as PDF, rename your file by tapping
To rename a file at a later date:
From any file list, tap > Rename.
Enter a new name.
Tap Rename.
You can modify scans after they are converted to PDF. The feature allows you to organize, crop, and enhance scans at any time. To use this feature:
From any file list, tap next to any file.
Tap
Modify your scan as needed.
Tap Save.
Note that you cannot modify scanned files which have been altered outside of Adobe Scan. For example, if you have opened a scan in Acrobat and have added comments, added attachments, organized pages, and so on, Adobe Scan will not be able to modify that file.

Integration with the device photo library allows you to easily browse your photo library and add images to new or existing scans. The document detection feature allows you to tell the app to distinguish documents from selfies, artwork, and other non-document photos. By showing you document-specific images first, it’s easier to find and work with what you actually need.
There are two methods:
Add images during a current capture: tap on the capture screen, or
Add images to an existing scan:
Open a scan.
Tap > in the bottom menu.
Take another Photo or Select from Photos.

'Apple Warning Alert' is a fake error messaged displayed by a malicious website to which users are redirected by various potentially unwanted programs (PUPs). These programs are known to infiltrate systems without consent. In addition, they continually record user-system information relating to web browsing activity and deliver intrusive online advertisements.
The 'Apple Warning Alert' error states that the system is infected with a type of spyware/malware. It also states that this virus poses a direct threat to privacy (logins/passwords, banking details, etc. might be stolen) and users must eliminate the risk immediately by contacting 'expert engineers' via a telephone number ('1-800-796-7125') provided. These 'engineers' then supposedly guide victims through the malware removal process. Be aware, however, that 'Apple Warning Alert' is fake and has nothing to do with Apple. This error is a merely a scam - cyber criminals claim to be computer technicians and attempt to monetize 'services' that are not required by users. The malware does not exist and, therefore, 'Apple Warning Alert' error should be ignored. You can remove it by closing the web browser. Furthermore, PUPs continually record browsing activity by gathering various user-system information that might be personally identifiable. PUP developers collect IP addresses, website URLs visited, pages viewed, queries entered into search engines, and other similar data. They sell this private information to third parties (potentially, cyber criminals) who also aim to generate revenue by misusing personal details. This behavior can lead to serious privacy issues or even identity theft. Another downside is display of intrusive online advertisements. PUPs employ various tools that enable placement of third party graphical content on any site. Therefore, displayed ads (pop-ups, coupons, banners, etc.) often conceal underlying content, thereby significantly diminishing the browsing experience. In addition, the ads might run scripts that download and install other PUPs or even viruses. Therefore, even accidental clicks can result in high-risk computer infections. For these reasons, all PUPs should be uninstalled immediately.

How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?
PUPs are distributed using intrusive ads and the aforementioned bundling method. Therefore, be cautious when downloading/installing software and browsing the Internet in general. Carefully analyze each download/installation step using the 'Custom' or 'Advanced' settings and opt-out of all additionally-included programs. Third party software download/installation set-ups often include additional programs - we strongly advise against using them. Note that cyber criminals spend many resources designing intrusive ads and, thus, most look genuine. Therefore, no matter how tempting the ads may seem, do not take the risk of clicking them. The main reasons for computer infections are poor knowledge and careless behavior - the key to computer safety is caution.
